An official link is a source—not a seal of approval.

The publisher of a webpage and the origin of its claims are not always the same thing.
Regulator statements
FDA statements are the source for what FDA has said or decided. We link the specific relevant document and keep its date separate from our editorial verification date.
Company announcements
Lilly is the source for Lilly’s plans and announcements. We label those statements as sponsor-reported, even when they appear in an official SEC archive. We do not convert a company forecast into a regulator commitment.
Clinical-trial records
Government-hosted trial records are not a government endorsement of a study. NIH explicitly makes this distinction. Recruiting status, estimated completion dates and study-site details can change. S06: Finding a Clinical Trial
Papers indexed by NIH/NLM
NLM indexes and archives literature published by other organizations. Inclusion in PubMed or PMC does not mean that NIH endorses a study’s conclusions or a commercial product. We cite the authors, journal and publication itself rather than labeling every indexed paper an “NIH study.” S18: PubMed Disclaimer
Our editorial analysis
Any timeline scenario, comparison or interpretation is labeled as our analysis, with assumptions exposed. We do not infer comparative effectiveness from separate trial headlines. Clinical claims require a complete review of study design, population, endpoints, limitations and safety information.
