RetaFinder is an independent research and regulatory watch service. This page documents what we publish, how advertising is labeled, and how we handle the limited data you give us when you subscribe. Read it before you submit your email address.

No professional relationship

No communication through this site (including newsletter replies or signup interactions) constitutes professional advice in any field.

Editorial standards

Use direct, claim-level citations. Label agency decisions, sponsor reports, journal publications and original analysis separately. Record source publication date, verification date, reviewer, change summary and any conflicting evidence. Publish substantive corrections; do not silently change a forecast. AI may assist drafting but does not approve publication.

Do not claim physician review unless the identified qualified reviewer actually reviewed the stated material. Do not use FDA/NIH seals, manufacturer logos, fabricated ratings, patient outcomes or "FDA-compliant website" badges. Original-source links are not endorsement. Advertising standards

Label directory promotions as advertisements at the point of encounter and before the click. Identify the real publisher and material ownership, referral or financial interests. Sponsored placement is not a clinical ranking. No retatrutide sales, gray-market vendor placements, access deposits or paid trial-position claims.

Review the linked destination as part of the promotion, including claims, products, licensing evidence, forms, tracking and onward sales paths. A disclaimer on RetaFinder cannot be used to excuse a contradictory destination. Any manufacturer ownership, license or sponsorship requires renewed regulatory review; the rules for sponsor-controlled promotion differ from independent editorial discussion. Privacy notice

What we collect. When you subscribe, we collect the email address you submit and the edition(s) you explicitly choose (RetaRegister, Current-Care Brief, or both). We collect the date and source page of the signup. If you reply to a newsletter, we receive the content of your reply and the message headers. We do not collect your name, postal address, phone number, IP-based precise geolocation, browsing history across sites, or any health history, symptoms, diagnoses, medications, or free-text health intake.

Why we collect it. Your email address is used to send the edition(s) you selected and the unsubscribe link required by 15 U.S.C. § 7701 et seq. (CAN-SPAM Act). Your edition choice determines which list you are placed on. We do not infer a diagnosis or assign you to an advertising audience from your reading activity.

Whom we share it with. We do not sell your email address, your edition choice, or any profile derived from them. We share your email with our email-delivery vendor (Resend) under written data-protection terms solely to send you the edition(s) you selected, and with our hosting provider (Cloudflare, Pages and Workers) under their standard terms. We disclose to law enforcement only when compelled by valid legal process.

Washington My Health My Data rights (RCW 19.373)

Because RetaFinder invites readers to opt in to health-topic-specific editions (e.g., retatrutide research), the email address you submit combined with your edition choice may constitute "consumer health data" as defined by Washington's My Health My Data Act, Chapter 19.373 RCW. With respect to such data:

• Collection scope. Email address, edition choice, signup date, source page. No other consumer health data is collected.
• No sale. We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share consumer health data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• No arbitrary sharing. We obtain separate, affirmative consent before any future sharing that is not strictly necessary to deliver the edition you requested.
• Right to withdraw consent. Use the unsubscribe link in every newsletter, reply to any edition, or email privacy@retafinder.com. We honor withdrawal within ten business days.
• Right to delete. Email privacy@retafinder.com. We confirm deletion within 45 days.
• Right to access. Email privacy@retafinder.com. We provide a copy of your subscriber record within 45 days.
• Retention. While you are subscribed. After withdrawal, we retain a suppression record (hashed email, withdrawal date, reason) so we honor your unsubscribe in the future. We do not retain suppression records indefinitely; periodic review and deletion is documented in our internal data-retention schedule.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

RetaFinder is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age, as required by the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act. If you are under 13, do not use this site or submit any information through any signup form. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly upon discovery.

Email & subscriber choice (CAN-SPAM)

Every edition you receive identifies the sender as RetaFinder (published by HormoneVentures, LLC), includes our valid postal address (1514 E 19th Ave, Spokane, WA 99203), and contains a one-click unsubscribe link. We honor unsubscribe requests within ten business days. We do not enable individual open/click tracking by default; aggregate deliverability only. Security

Data in transit is protected by TLS. Confirmation and withdrawal tokens are stored at rest as SHA-256 hashes; raw tokens are never persisted. Subscriber records require a workspace-scoped API key for read or modification. Administrative endpoints require a separate system-level key. We log all subscriber-state changes to an append-only event log for audit.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RetaFinder, its publisher (HormoneVentures, LLC), its parent (Signal Loom AI), and their respective officers, employees, contractors, and contributors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your access to, use of, or inability to use the site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. The site is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or accuracy. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain damages; in such jurisdictions, the limitations in this section apply to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Governing law

This notice is governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to this notice or your use of the site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Spokane County, Washington.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when our practices change. The "Updated" date above will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be announced to active subscribers by email at least fourteen days before they take effect, except where a shorter period is required by law.
